We conduct free networking events monthly for the benefit of the members of our business referral groups. For example, these photos were taken at our April 4 2019 free networking event. The event was open to all business people. We try to find unique, out of the way places that are interesting and fun. Our monthly free networking events will always be in the early evening. As a result, our events don’t interfere with anyone’s work schedule.
Free Networking Events
The members of our networking group seek out the new people in the group. They do everything they can to make them feel welcome. We know it can feel awkward walking into a networking event where you don’t know anyone. Consequently, when the people first walk into the venue we give them a name tag so that the others can greet them by name. Once they have their name tag then we introduce them to others in the group that might be good strategic alliances for them. We hand out flyers to let everyone know about our local networking groups. However, there is never any pressure to attend or join. We just provide information about our local business referral groups.
