These photos are from one of our recent Dania Networking Events. This was a free networking event our group hosted at the new Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant in Dania Pointe. One of the advantages of joining our business referral group is that we have free events like this regularly. In fact, members of our networking group are not only invited, they are encouraged to bring as many guests as the like. In fact, at this event we had 35 people attend and our members made an effort to make each guest feel welcomed by the group. We met some people that have never been to any type of networking event. Before they left, they told us they made some excellent business contacts. When people that are new to networking events attend one of our events we introduce them to as many potential new business contacts as we can. Consequently, many of the newest members of our business referral group come from things like our free Dania networking events.
We have conducted free networking events like this in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood and now in Dania. The members of our networking group enjoy going out to new venues and meeting other businesspeople. Our business referral group members like events like this because they meet new people that could become strategic partners. For instance, a woman that owns a printing business may meet the owner of an ad agency that designs brochures. Ad agencies don’t print brochures, they send the work out to a print shop. All businesspeople prefer to refer business to people they know, like and trust.
Business Networking Group
Our business networking group works because we meet every week. We’ve seen groups that meet once a month or twice a month and that’s just not enough. When groups meet less often the members are not thinking about each other as frequently as they would in a group with weekly meetings.
